Senior Product Designer – Observability, Data Visualization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Serve as the design lead for data visualization at Nebius Platform and Nebius Grafana, setting best practices and ensuring uniformity across all observability experiences.

• Collaborate closely with Observability Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the entire product lifecycle.

• Create clear, scalable interfaces for intricate cloud and AI infrastructure products.

• Convert business objectives, technical limitations, and user requirements into coherent user flows and interaction models.

• Effectively present design solutions and their rationale to cross-functional teams.

• Assist in the development and upkeep of the design system, ensuring consistency and quality throughout the product.

• Support the design of additional Compute services in Nebius Console as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in designing data visualizations and dashboards for observability, monitoring, analytics, or related products.

• Profound understanding of data visualization and information visualization principles, including visual hierarchy and the selection of suitable visualization techniques for various use cases.

• Strong comprehension of metrics, time-series data, and how users interpret and analyze this information.

• Capacity to define and promote best practices for dashboard design and data visualization across the platform.

• Ability to balance usability, consistency, and innovation within complex systems.

• Solid grasp of the product design process, encompassing discovery, validation, and delivery.

• Experience in collaborating with designers in a shared product and design system environment.
