Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop the foundational visual identity and user experience for a nascent consumer product.

• Collaborate closely with the product lead to convert product decisions into refined design.

• Exhibit strong instincts regarding virality, social content, and emerging video-first design trends.

• Uphold a professional, organized, and highly responsive work ethic within a dynamic founding team.

• Craft a polished, engaging, and culturally relevant experience, particularly in relation to social and video content.

• Co-create the product and take ownership of the results as part of Katapult's AI-first engineering studio.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient conversational English, as all collaboration occurs in English.

• Robust design portfolio showcasing high-quality, aesthetically refined consumer product work.

• Proven expertise in UI/UX design, with a solid grasp of user flows, interface design, usability, and interaction patterns.

• Experience or a keen instinct for virality, social platforms, and video content design.

• Creative director-level maturity: capable of providing a perspective rather than merely executing directions.

• Comfortable utilizing AI design platforms and tools (e.g., Claude Design) to enhance and expedite the design process.

• Highly professional, organized, and dependable, with strong follow-through.

• Background in AI-assisted video or content design.

• Experience in designing for consumer social or entertainment products.

• Previous experience as a creative director or in a comparable leadership design role.
