This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the entire process from discovery to delivery for a range of products, including those aimed at internal users, clinicians, and partners.
• Convert complex and ambiguous workflows into user-friendly, visually appealing interfaces.
• Lead UX research and user testing initiatives to base design decisions on actual user needs.
• Develop and sustain a cohesive design system that can scale across various products.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality outcomes, focusing on actual results rather than just polished mockups.
• Elevate the design standards within the organization by showcasing a strong aesthetic sense and the confidence to advocate for it.
• Minimum of 5 years of product design experience, with a portfolio that highlights outstanding craftsmanship and taste.
• Extensive knowledge of Figma and contemporary prototyping workflows.
• Proven experience in designing intricate, workflow-intensive tools.
• Capability to work independently through all phases: research, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
• Excellent communication skills, able to clearly explain design rationale to those without a design background.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of ownership and minimal process overhead.
• Preferably, experience in healthcare design involving clinical, operational, or health plan workflows.
• Previous involvement in large-scale design systems is a plus.
• Experience utilizing AI to enhance product work is also preferred.
