This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +7 more states.
• Oversee the comprehensive design process and launch features for both mobile and web platforms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to shape the product from initial concept to execution using a user-focused methodology.
• Employ AI tools throughout your design journey — from ideation and prototyping to pinpointing repeatable workflows suitable for automation.
• Regularly engage with customers, gather data, test prototypes, and convert research insights into impactful results.
• Organize design sprints and workshops to create high-quality solutions.
• Develop intuitive design flows, sketches, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interfaces for mobile and web applications.
• Contribute to the evolution and advancement of the design practice at GameChanger. Participate in our design system, actively engage in design critiques, share inspiring resources, and assist in brainstorming sessions.
• Challenge existing norms and advocate for innovation.
• You have proven the ability to quickly gain expertise in a new domain through user research.
• You possess a genuine interest and knowledge of sports, either as a fan or participant. This is especially beneficial for this role, though not mandatory if the other qualifications are strong.
• You have incorporated AI tools into your design process for research synthesis, rapid ideation, prototyping, or to expedite solutions beyond traditional methods.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience designing user-centered experiences.
• You have designed and launched multiple native iOS and Android applications and understand the distinct interaction patterns, constraints, and opportunities that come with mobile design.
• Your portfolio goes beyond high-fidelity mockups; it highlights impact, process, sketches, collaboration, and reflection. You include at least two in-depth case studies.
• You can deconstruct large problems into manageable, measurable components.
• You have experience in user research, conducting user interviews and tests, analyzing data, and synthesizing findings to identify trends and make informed recommendations.
• You champion design by clearly articulating and presenting the rationale behind your concepts.
• You are committed to advancing your team and actively seek ways to make a positive impact.
• You prioritize results and continuously strive to enhance the user experience.
• You actively seek and provide constructive feedback, understanding it as a vital avenue for growth.
• You demonstrate self-awareness and humility.
