Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Lead the complete product design process: Collaborate closely with your Product Owner, engineers, and analysts to transform vague challenges into refined, deliverable solutions. You will determine the most effective design strategy to achieve business objectives.

• Make decisions based on data: You will not operate in isolation. Work alongside our UX Research and Analytics teams to formulate hypotheses, conduct tests, and translate user behavior into actionable insights.

• Advance our ecosystem: Promote uniformity across portals, widgets, and administrative tools while managing intricate technical interdependencies.

• Utilize AI: AI is an integral tool here, not merely an experiment. We anticipate you to actively incorporate AI into your daily tasks, identify where it redefines challenges, and enhance your expertise. You should already be leveraging AI effectively and understand its value addition.

• Advocate for accessibility: Create user-friendly, inclusive interfaces that comply with WCAG standards, ensuring our platform is accessible to all.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated senior experience: Over 5 years of product design experience, preferably in complex B2B SaaS, FinTech, or large-scale e-commerce environments.

• Systems-thinking portfolio: A robust portfolio of launched products that illustrate your ability to solve business issues, navigate intricate workflows, and assess design impact (include case studies of your methodology, not just polished UI images).

• Research and data proficiency: While you are not a full-time researcher, you possess a solid understanding of the basics: formulating the right questions, monitoring relevant metrics, and using data to support decisions.

• Cross-functional teamwork: You communicate effectively with engineering and product teams, negotiating trade-offs without compromising user experience.

• Language proficiency: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English level to facilitate seamless communication across our distributed team.
