Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Norway.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the design process across various product areas from initial concept to final delivery.

• Simplify complex product and technical challenges into user-friendly, high-quality experiences.

• Maintain a balance of speed, experimentation, and craftsmanship amid fast-paced projects.

• Design with a focus on engagement, retention, monetization, and large-scale conversion.

• Develop and refine visual content (images and videos) to enhance product exploration, in-product experiences, and marketing/growth efforts.

• Contribute innovative product ideas and creative concepts.

• Recognize opportunities that extend beyond the immediate project brief.

• Assist in shaping new features and interaction patterns through proactive exploration.

• Elevate ideas through experimentation and thoughtful questioning.

• Clearly and confidently articulate design rationale.

• Defend your ideas thoughtfully and provide constructive pushback when necessary.

• Collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, and Leadership teams.

• Extensive experience in designing high-quality digital products for consumers.

• Exceptional product thinking and interaction design skills.

• Strong technical fluency and comfort with AI tools.

• Proficient in prototyping — capable of selecting the appropriate method and fidelity (e.g., design tools vs. code-based prototypes) based on the specific question being addressed.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.

• High design sensibility and strong visual judgment.

• Confidence in navigating independently within ambiguous and fast-paced environments.

• Strong sense of ownership and decision-making capabilities.

• Clear, concise, and trustworthy communicator — conveys ideas and tradeoffs quickly and transparently while respecting others' time.

• Speed-oriented operator — maintains high momentum and swiftly removes obstacles.

• High-agency, product-focused individual — possesses a strong perspective, takes ownership, and makes decisions amidst uncertainty.
