Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive design deliverables, including research, concepts, prototypes, and user interfaces.

• Perform research and evaluative assessments to gain insights into customer requirements.

• Apply design methodologies (such as personas and journey maps) to establish a unified perspective of the customer.

• Partner with product managers and engineers to define, prioritize, and implement solutions effectively.

• Enhance the design system by developing reusable patterns and components to ensure consistency.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the design team and its processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a product designer, preferably in SaaS or contemporary cloud software environments.

• Proficient in the entire design process, from discovery and prototyping to iteration and delivery.

• Exceptional visual design and interaction design capabilities, with a strong attention to detail.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities, engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Comfortable navigating uncertainty and making trade-offs to meet strategic objectives.

• Experience collaborating closely with product managers and engineers in cross-functional teams.

• Strong organizational and planning skills, capable of managing timelines autonomously.

• Research-driven mindset, with the ability to seek out and interpret insights to inform design choices.

• Open to utilizing AI and embracing innovative working methods.
