Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create user-centric, intuitive, and easily understandable experiences that integrate flawlessly into Apollo's product ecosystem.

• Work alongside AI engineers and data scientists to gain insights into model capabilities.

• Take the lead on design for the Extension and Admin interfaces.

• Utilize AI tools extensively within your workflow for ideation, rapid prototyping, research synthesis, and iterations.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Analysts to ascertain user needs.

• Ensure scalability and consistency by contributing to Apollo's cross-surface design system in Figma.

• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate based on user feedback and behavioral data.

• Engage with your squad during Weekly Sprint Planning and Daily Standups.

• Work with fellow Designers to provide constructive feedback and share best practices.

• Champion the user experience through interviews, usability tests, and behavioral analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in designing and delivering complex web-based products driven by data and customer insights.

• You possess an AI-first approach to your work.

• Experience in designing AI-driven features — including conversational interfaces, recommendation systems, agentic workflows, or generative AI applications.

• Strong analytical skills: able to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.

• You have a deep understanding of design principles and best practices.

• A self-starter who flourishes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in creating and maintaining components across various product surfaces in Figma.

• An avid learner with a curiosity for new developments.

• Experimentation-oriented: capable of conducting user interviews, forming hypotheses, and testing with prototypes or live experiments.

• A passion for typography and copywriting.

• You possess a systems-thinking mindset — considering surfaces, states, and user journeys.
