This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product leaders, designers, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define product direction and deliver impactful solutions from inception to launch.

• Establish and refine a product vision and strategy that is grounded in user needs, business goals, and data insights.

• Lead discovery initiatives, utilize analytical techniques related to user research, mapping, and modeling, and perform feasibility assessments to explore and validate product concepts.

• Create and sustain a product roadmap that balances immediate delivery with long-term innovation; ensure transparency and alignment among teams.

• Prioritize product features and capabilities based on value, effort, dependencies, and user feedback.

• Convert ideas into clear, testable user stories and success criteria; support agile events and iterative delivery processes.

• Establish and monitor key product metrics to assess performance and guide ongoing improvement.

• Act as a liaison between business and technology, ensuring a mutual understanding of goals and outcomes.

• Assist in adoption planning and coordinate product launches using change management principles in partnership with various business units.

• Proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies across teams; take ownership of resolution strategies.

• Contribute to the development and evolution of best practices within the team—promoting collaboration, user focus, and agility.

• Mentor team members, share insights, and foster a product-thinking mindset throughout the organization.

• Lead and execute functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), 508 compliance testing, and more.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, agile business analysis, or similar roles in software or data product development.

• Demonstrated capability to define, plan, and deliver comprehensive product solutions in cross-functional, agile settings.

• Experience in transforming “requirements” into an evidence-driven, prioritized product backlog.

• Proficient in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation that facilitates efficient development.

• Familiarity with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and backlog management practices.

• Ability to lead discovery initiatives using various research methods and collaborate on iterative design processes.

• Comfortable working with data—capable of defining metrics, analyzing performance, and leveraging insights to inform decisions.

• Strong facilitation, presentation, and written communication skills.

• Skilled at managing multiple priorities, navigating ambiguity, and operating across business and technical domains.
