Senior Producer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of high-level initiatives and collaborate with all departments to achieve objectives.

• Oversee and manage the UI roadmap and backlog, ensuring that progress or changes are communicated through various channels.

• In collaboration with the UI Design, Art, and Engineering Leads, conduct milestone planning and prioritize tasks and bugs to guarantee the team focuses on the right priorities at the right times.

• Collaborate with other Producers to plan and coordinate work across teams for features that are led and supported by UI.

• Partner with UI leads and the team to create task estimates and oversee the workflow, addressing any obstacles as they arise.

• Manage change requests at both the stakeholder and team levels. Negotiate compromises and suggest solutions to meet the project's requirements.

• Keep stakeholders informed about the status of feature production by leading regular feature review meetings, weekly team syncs, and stakeholder meetings.

• Maintain and enhance team processes (kick-offs, planning, stand-ups, triages) to ensure work is requested, produced, and completed in a reliable manner.

• Sustain and improve the feature pipeline and team workflows.

• Proactively identify production issues, establish facts, and propose solutions.

• Ensure meetings are effective, documented, and that action items are followed up on.

• Be the dependable and stable source of information, support, and engagement that our team relies on for success.

• Participate in playtests with the studio and UI team to iterate based on feedback and player experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the gaming industry.

• A minimum of 2 years working with larger teams in a cross-functional feature production role.

• Proficient in Jira (experience with Jira Plans is a plus), Confluence, and the Google suite.

• Strong project management skills: resource management and time management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, even in high-pressure situations.

• Capable of multitasking and managing competing priorities effectively.

• Ability to communicate risks and challenges to both team members and stakeholders.
