Senior Procurement & Purchasing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate supply markets: Perform research on suppliers and the market to understand cost drivers, capacity, performance, and sourcing trends.

• Generate data-driven insights: Maintain historical data on supplier performance and costs, transforming sourcing effectiveness into actionable reports for leadership.

• Facilitate informed decision-making: Develop dashboards, reports, and tools that convert complex supply-market data into clear business insights.

• Enhance sourcing outcomes: Examine total cost of ownership, supplier capabilities, and organizational demand to improve competitiveness within the supplier portfolio.

• Suggest sourcing strategies: Provide recommendations on sourcing methods, contract structures, negotiation tactics, and supplier-specific opportunities for cost reduction.

• Strengthen procurement infrastructure and team capabilities: Oversee procurement tools, reporting, and communication channels, while offering guidance and mentorship to team members as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or a related field.

• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret cost data, market dynamics, and demand trends.

• Proficient in standard office software and purchasing technologies.

• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating in a team environment.
