This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist with daily procurement activities within Coupa, which includes managing requisitions, approval workflows, purchase orders, invoice processing support, and establishing operational controls.

• Evaluate and enhance Coupa workflows, approval processes, catalogs, and transaction handling.

• Facilitate procurement intake and process execution from the purchase request stage to purchase order and invoice routing.

• Manage supplier onboarding processes and associated documentation.

• Keep procurement records and necessary documentation updated in Coupa or other authorized repositories.

• Address stakeholder concerns regarding requisitions, invoices, approvals, user access, notifications, delegates, and Coupa functionalities.

• Generate operational reports, spend visibility analytics, workflow metrics, and insights for management.

• Detect system deficiencies, control vulnerabilities, and process inefficiencies while suggesting improvements.

• Assist with Coupa implementation and enhancement projects, including workflows, analytics, guided purchasing, and catalogs.

• Educate and mentor internal users on procurement procedures, Coupa functionalities, policies, and best practices.

• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Accounts Payable, IT, and various business stakeholders.

• Ensure governance and audit preparedness by verifying that transactions, approvals, vendor records, and supporting documents are comprehensive and adhere to policies.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by Procurement leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Information Systems, or a related field is required.

• 4 to 7 years of pertinent experience in procurement operations, procure-to-pay processes, purchasing systems support, accounts payable operations, or a related procurement role is required.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Coupa in a business or administrative role is essential.

• Proven experience in supporting requisitions, approvals, purchase orders, invoices, supplier onboarding, and document management is required.

• Familiarity with procurement categories and functions, including competitive bidding processes, is expected.

• Knowledge of indirect procurement operations is necessary.

• Comprehensive understanding of Coupa functionalities, including requisitioning, purchase orders, invoice routing, approval workflows, supplier onboarding interactions, user roles, and basic troubleshooting is required.

• Strong grasp of the complete procure-to-pay process is essential.

• Basic understanding of procurement governance, documentation standards, auditability, and segregation of duties is necessary.

• Ability to analyze process flows, pinpoint bottlenecks, and enhance efficiency through workflow, automation, and system configuration is essential.

• Proficient reporting and analytical skills, including tracking operational KPIs and supporting data-driven decisions, are required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential.

• Knowledge of procurement in the indirect category is a must.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment is necessary.

• Relevant procurement, operations, or Coupa certification is preferred.

• Experience with Coupa enhancement, implementation, or optimization projects is preferred.

• Familiarity with formal procurement policies, governance, and audit requirements is preferred.

• Understanding of source-to-contract and supplier lifecycle processes is preferred.

• Procurement experience in the insurance or finance sectors is preferred.
