Senior Procurement Manager – Strategic Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of sourcing initiatives and procurement programs across various categories.

• Cultivate client relationships and act as the primary contact for sourcing delivery, ensuring excellence in execution and client satisfaction.

• Lead and supervise a team of sourcing professionals, guaranteeing productivity and quality of delivery.

• Track program performance against KPIs and SLAs, providing consistent updates to internal leadership and client stakeholders.

• Collaborate with sourcing directors to ensure the smooth execution of sourcing projects.

• Manage the complete sourcing cycle, comprehend business needs, conduct vendor research to identify potential participants, and facilitate contract finalization.

• Perform market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and gather market insights to aid decision-making.

• Direct the supplier selection and qualification processes, including issuing RFIs, RFPs, and conducting supplier evaluations and negotiations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Over 10 years of experience, particularly in consulting or client-facing roles.

• Demonstrated experience as a Sourcing Specialist, Procurement Specialist, or in a similar capacity.

• In-depth knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies, procurement best practices, and supplier management.

• Experience in global delivery and managing cross-functional teams.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Proven track record in leading large-scale sourcing or procurement transformation programs.

• Strong organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple priorities.

• Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification are advantageous.
