Procurement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete procurement lifecycle, which includes negotiation, contracting, and onboarding, while ensuring adherence to internal policies and SOX compliance.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect requirements, pinpoint cost-saving opportunities, and provide procurement solutions that deliver long-term value.

• Manage and enhance the utilization of procurement platforms such as Tipalti and NetSuite to boost automation, reporting, and spending visibility.

• Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Compliance to guarantee that vendor contracts are in line with corporate policies and risk mitigation strategies.

• Assist in the formulation of procurement policies and procedures to ensure scalability and exemplary governance.

• Lead RFPs/RFQs and facilitate competitive sourcing processes in partnership with business owners.

• Cultivate strong internal relationships with scientific and clinical teams to anticipate upcoming needs and effectively manage procurement pipelines.

• Provide market intelligence specific to categories and conduct cost benchmarking to aid strategic decision-making.

• Consistently seek ways to enhance procurement processes, decrease costs, and reduce supply risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

• 3–6 years of progressive procurement experience, including a minimum of 2-3 years in the Life Sciences sector.

• Experience in a public company environment and knowledge of SOX compliance.

• Solid technical expertise with procurement systems, such as Tipalti, and NetSuite ERP systems.

• Familiarity with vendor risk management and collaboration with cross-functional legal, finance, and compliance teams.
