This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Spearhead organization-wide process enhancement projects through data gathering, analysis, and transformation efforts.
• Oversee initiatives that align with critical business goals across various divisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to pinpoint, create, and deploy sustainable solutions.
• Execute comprehensive process analyses and formulate business cases along with ROI models.
• Facilitate value stream mapping and statistical analysis initiatives.
• Compose project deliverables and strategic recommendations.
• Provide leadership and direction to Business Process Analysts within project teams.
• Engage in cross-functional enterprise projects.
• Advocate for continuous improvement practices and mentor employees aiming for Lean Green and Green Belt certifications.
• Implement intricate process improvement initiatives and relay results to divisions.
• Influence business partners and small groups without direct authority.
• Act as a change agent and coach to foster and sustain changes.
• Supervise analyses performed by process improvement analysts.
• Utilize Lean, DMAIC, and Design for Six Sigma tools to align efforts with business goals.
• Identify and address project risks and challenges.
• Prepare comprehensive project plans and monitor performance and deliverables.
• Create solutions and methodologies for intricate business challenges.
• Mentor and assist Lean and Green Belt candidates in achieving certification.
• Develop content for leadership presentations.
• Ensure the implementation of standardized solutions across divisions and businesses.
• Identify and present new project prospects to leadership.
• Develop and disseminate best practices.
• Collaborate with Finance and Business to establish and monitor project metrics.
• Formulate ROI-based business cases.
• Create control plans and track key performance metrics.
• Deliver operational enhancements and financial gains to achieve annual objectives.
• High School Diploma/GED is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience may substitute for degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business process improvement or process redesign is required.
• Valid Lean Six Sigma Green-level certification from an accredited academic or quality institution is necessary.
• A commitment to achieve Horizon Black Belt certification within two years of employment is essential.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Experience in a multi-divisional corporate setting is desirable.
• Understanding of change management challenges associated with process improvement is important.
• Proven skills in project management and process improvement are required.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is crucial.
• Familiarity with Minitab and/or other statistical software is beneficial.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Capability to lead the work of others is necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills are essential.
• Ability to cultivate strong professional relationships is important.
• Proficient in gathering, synthesizing, and analyzing data to draw logical conclusions.
• Extensive project management experience is required.
• Must be organized and results-oriented.
• Occasional travel to alternate Horizon sites may be needed.
