Senior Principal Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead and shape the long-term, multi-year software and platform roadmap for PC3000.

• Take responsibility for the comprehensive software platform direction, including hypervisor strategy, container enablement, and cloud management (Morpheus).

• Make well-informed and decisive choices regarding the software platform direction that enhance customer engagement and promote PC3000 business growth.

• Convert business requirements into clearly defined feature specifications that directly contribute to revenue growth, competitive positioning, and customer retention.

• Continuously assess the competitive landscape and integrate competitive insights into roadmap priorities.

• Collaborate with component product teams to drive the PC3000 software strategy and requirements into their backlogs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in product management, platform strategy, or technical leadership roles within enterprise infrastructure or cloud environments.

• Senior-level product management experience with a proven track record of owning and executing platform-scale strategies.

• Extensive, hands-on experience with VMware platforms, including VMware vSphere Foundation (VVF), VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), and the Aria suite.

• Strong competitive intelligence across enterprise infrastructure, including Nutanix, Microsoft Azure Stack, Red Hat OpenShift / Virtualization, and similar platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to translate business strategies into feature-level requirements and multi-year roadmaps.

• Self-motivated problem solver who works with a high degree of autonomy and presents solutions—rather than problems—to leadership.

• Exceptional communication skills with the capability to confidently present to audiences ranging from technical IT staff to Director/VP-level executives.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
