This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Accountable for the introduction of products and overseeing manufacturing performance for both new and ongoing AI/ML, GPGPU, and hardware accelerator-based server and storage platforms.
• Demonstrated independent capability to organize, supervise teams, and drive solutions for multiple complex issues across various technical domains (hardware, software, firmware, performance, interoperability, etc.).
• Must exhibit exceptional attention to detail while effectively communicating complex matters in straightforward, actionable terms at all organizational levels.
• Requires a robust balance of technical skills, experience-driven judgment, and business insight in all execution and decision-making processes.
• Strong aptitude for developing, nurturing, supervising, and maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with peers, team members, executive leadership, customers, and external partners consistently.
• Provide thought leadership and direct engineering support to various manufacturing sites in areas including product, test infrastructure, components, and supplier expertise.
• Share knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are effectively communicated and implemented throughout the organization.
• Guide both the customer and Jabil operational teams towards successfully resolving complex and/or systemic product, process, and material issues using rigorous analytical methods.
• Collaborate with site operations and test leadership to facilitate root cause investigations, leading to clear actions and enhancements in FPY, test throughput, and repair yield.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for customer product introductions and manufacturing performance, specifically from a server and storage subject matter expertise standpoint.
• Actively contribute to the knowledge base utilized for effective and precise debugging, training appropriate test/debug leads, and responding promptly to feedback to support daily operational goals.
• Over 15 years of experience in a hardware product development environment focusing on enterprise server, storage, or networking products.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of server, storage, networking, and GPGPU as well as PCIe-based accelerator architectures.
• Experience in systems management with server products, including embedded remote management standards, interfaces, and applications.
• Proficient understanding of OS, driver, firmware, and hardware architecture, as well as device interactions.
• Ability to utilize software/hardware expertise to identify root causes that lead to optimized solutions.
• Expertise in Linux operating systems, associated applications, and script development.
• Proven capability to operate within a fast-paced and ambiguous business environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally, up to 40%, with primary travel expected to locations in Mexico at this time.
