Senior, Principal Consultant – Regulatory

Posted Jul 17

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead pivotal regulatory projects: Oversee RIM system implementations with a strong emphasis on Veeva Vault RIM, IDMP readiness, regulatory data management, and data quality initiatives for leading pharmaceutical and life sciences companies.

• Take ownership of your outcomes: As a Senior Consultant, you autonomously manage sub-projects and small to mid-sized engagements. As a Principal Consultant, you take the helm of larger projects and program segments, overseeing timelines, budgets, risks, and KPIs.

• Be the trusted advisor for clients: You serve as the primary contact at the project level, interacting with regulatory operations teams and senior stakeholders. You facilitate workshops, manage expectations, and transform client needs into practical solutions.

• Support our growth initiatives: You actively participate in proposals and pitches, identifying opportunities to enhance the value we provide to our clients. As a Principal Consultant, you gradually assume greater responsibility for client relationships and new business, receiving our full backing.

• Share your expertise: You mentor fellow consultants, contribute to our Communities of Practice, and help define our regulatory service offerings.

• Represent the industry: You act as a representative for MAIN5 at conferences, client events, and industry forums.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in life sciences, pharmacy, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent background with relevant experience.

• Extensive experience in Regulatory Affairs: You have years of experience in the pharmaceutical/life sciences sector or consulting, with a clear focus on regulatory processes, data, and systems.

• Practical RIM expertise — particularly with Veeva Vault RIM: You have hands-on experience with regulatory information management systems, especially Veeva Vault RIM, in implementation, migration, or optimization projects, and you are familiar with Health Authority requirements such as IDMP.

• A comprehensive consulting skill set: Structured problem-solving, project management, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management are part of your daily routine, not just buzzwords on your resume.

• Client engagement skills: You clearly present complex topics, confidently manage demanding stakeholders, and maintain composure when priorities change.

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus, but not essential.

🏝️ Benefits

• Truly remote-first: Work from the location that suits you best.

• Family-friendly approach: Enjoy flexible hours that accommodate your lifestyle.

• Mature working environment: We hire experienced professionals and treat them with respect.

• People-centric culture: Engage in open communication on equal terms, with a supportive team and attentive leaders.

• Competitive compensation: Attractive salary package with bonus potential and modern equipment for your work environment.
