Senior Pre-Sales Enterprise Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide presales and architectural consulting for public sector clients, emphasizing research and higher education within the DACH region.

• Engage in consulting and development in presales and architecture for public sector clients, particularly in research and teaching in the DACH region.

• Foster customer relationships and communicate future visions, technology roadmaps, and business opportunities.

• Assist clients in evaluating changes and identifying actionable next steps.

• Create tailored solution designs, target architectures, and proposal strategies with a strong emphasis on AI and technical services.

• Offer advisory services to clients at the management level, facilitating complex decision-making and alignment processes.

• Convert functional, organizational, and strategic requirements into solid services, architectures, and proposal concepts.

• Contribute throughout the entire value chain — from market analysis, portfolio management, and governance to concrete opportunities and management formats.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in presales, enterprise architecture, business architecture, consulting, or a similar client-facing architecture or advisory setting.

• Familiarity with public sector requirements; knowledge of the research and higher education sectors is advantageous.

• Experience in developing solution architectures, target-state designs, transformation strategies, or strategic technology initiatives.

• Interest in AI, modern technical services, and their integration into robust customer architectures.

• Knowledge of relevant institutions, universities, research organizations, and authorities in the DACH region is beneficial.

• Understanding of digital transformation, cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, managed services, and data center operations is advantageous.

• Confident demeanor, strong sense of personal responsibility, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
