Senior PowerBuilder Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance functionalities within the accounting system

• Maintain high standards of code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices

• Assess technical impacts and suggest enhancements

• Assist in resolving complex issues, including those involving clients

• Engage in agile practices and work collaboratively with the team

• Document solutions and aid in the ongoing development of the product

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with PowerBuilder (DataWindow, PFC)

• Development of desktop applications

• Experience with databases: Sybase SQL Anywhere, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server

• Skilled in SQL (including stored procedures, triggers, views, and optimization)

• Familiarity with .NET and integration with PowerBuilder

• Understanding of threading and managing large data sets

• Knowledge of code-quality principles (Clean Code, SOLID, Design Patterns)

• Proficient in version control using Git

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
