Senior Portfolio Manager, VWR Brand Equipment & Instruments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement Avantor’s VWR portfolio strategy aimed at increasing market share, which includes, but is not limited to, enhancing existing product penetration, launching new proprietary products, acquiring new suppliers, expanding product lines, penetrating new markets, and growing within current customer markets.

• Establish, monitor, and report on financial and operational metrics pertinent to the designated VWR Brand portfolio, identifying risks and opportunities for enhancement by utilizing the Avantor Business System and its tools.

• Create strategic marketing initiatives for the VWR Brand portfolio by analyzing future trends and emerging technologies within markets, as well as developments in end customer segments.

• Oversee the product life cycle for the portfolio, which encompasses supplier onboarding, product additions and enhancements, sales training and support, price management, and overall product life cycle management.

• Foster collaboration with the portfolio team and leadership to meet revenue and profitability objectives for the portfolio.

• Deliver presentations to senior management regarding market dynamics, competition, and customer segmentation pertinent to their portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• At least three years of experience in strategic marketing, product management, category management, sales, or a related field is required.

• Safety certifications are preferred but not mandatory (ASP, CSP, or others).
