Senior Platform Engineer – Market Research, Digital Insights

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and execution of large-scale, mission-critical platform systems that support the engineering ecosystem.

• Establish the long-term technical vision for infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and developer empowerment.

• Define and maintain best practices concerning performance, reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Balance a strategic vision with hands-on execution to achieve measurable enhancements in system reliability and productivity.

• Mentor engineers across various teams, offering insights on platform architecture and technical design.

• Develop onboarding processes, internal workshops, and documentation to promote a culture of reliability and automation.

• Lead by example through code reviews, design discussions, and the formulation of technical proposals (RFCs).

• Manage complex incidents and lead post-incident reviews that lead to systemic improvements.

• Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to foster trust and facilitate cross-functional initiatives.

• Provide platform capabilities that enable product teams to build, test, and deploy with assurance and speed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in leading the design of multi-region infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform) and contemporary CI/CD frameworks.

• Ability to work with significant autonomy and manage planning horizons of 3–12 months.

• In-depth knowledge of observability, SLOs, and the implementation of automated remediation systems.

• Proven track record of mentoring senior engineers and influencing technical standards across the organization.

• Experience in modernization initiatives that enhance performance while lowering infrastructure costs.

• Outstanding capability to drive cross-functional alignment and exhibit thought leadership in developer experience (DevEx).
