This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design, construct, and manage observability pipelines utilizing the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Fleet) across workloads on Azure and AWS.
• Develop and oversee SLO/SLI dashboards along with error budget reporting for BaaS platform services.
• Lead incident response efforts for distributed, multi-tenant cloud workloads; responsible for the creation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of runbooks.
• Create and improve proactive support tools, including pattern analysis, tenant correlation dashboards, and baseline deviation alerting to minimize reactive support demands.
• Oversee and manage Elastic Fleet agent policies, enrollment health, and log streaming pipelines across Azure and AWS worker fleets.
• Collaborate with SRE, R&D, and Proactive Support teams to address observability gaps, including workflows for tenant identification and integrations with the admin portal.
• Over 5 years of experience in cloud platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure roles that support commercial SaaS products.
• Extensive hands-on experience with the Elastic Stack: creating dashboards, writing KQL/Query DSL, and managing Fleet.
• Demonstrated experience in operating and troubleshooting distributed, multi-tenant workloads on Azure and/or AWS.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services: AKS, Entra ID, Key Vault, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Private Endpoints, and more.
• Experience in incident response within production cloud environments, including the development of runbooks and conducting post-incident reviews.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Azure Bicep, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Proficient scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Capability to work collaboratively across functions with SRE, product teams, and customer-facing support teams.
