Senior Platform Engineer, Cloud & Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will develop the cloud infrastructure for a production-ready platform.

• You will integrate new cloud components focusing on persistence, monitoring, and security.

• You will establish a robust operational foundation that includes logging, observability, and CI/CD pipelines.

• You will consistently provision cloud resources in a maintainable manner using Infrastructure as Code.

• You will set up technical foundations for effective artifact management and controlled audit access.

• You will make informed technical decisions and identify risks at an early stage.

• You will pragmatically drive larger topics into actionable implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• You are an experienced software engineer specializing in platform, cloud, infrastructure, or backend systems development.

• You manage applications securely, audibly, and stably—not just as a developer.

• You possess knowledge of security at system boundaries, including authentication, secret handling, tenant isolation, and secure access models.

• You are adept with cloud configurations, deployments, and build/delivery pipelines.

• You articulate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code in a reproducible and reviewable manner; familiarity with Pulumi is a plus.

• You actively write production-oriented code and work hands-on.

• You approach challenges in terms of risks, dependencies, and vertical slices rather than large transformation projects.

• You communicate effectively and independently drive topics forward.
