Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +15 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and enhance a reliable and scalable platform infrastructure that supports our SaaS products and APIs.

• Collaborate with Engineering teams to progressively develop the platform architecture.

• Architect and sustain infrastructure-as-code frameworks.

• Establish observability as a fundamental capability of the platform.

• Take ownership of and enhance incident response frameworks.

• Define and direct service level objectives (SLOs) and service level indicators (SLIs).

• Lead enhancements to CI/CD pipelines and platform tools.

• Drive strategies for capacity planning, performance optimization, and scaling.

• Work alongside Security and Engineering leadership to ensure platform resilience.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering within a SaaS environment.

• Hands-on experience with production cloud infrastructure in distributed systems.

• Azure experience preferred; AWS and GCP experience are welcome.

• Familiarity with agents and AI-powered workflows in an engineering context.

• Strong understanding of production observability.

• A customer-service-oriented mindset towards the engineers you support.

• Experience in discussions regarding cost, speed, and safety tradeoffs.
