Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, automate, and minimize the effort involved in managing ReflexAI’s multi-cloud infrastructure across GCP and AWS.

• Collaborate with Terraform and Terragrunt, Github, Kubernetes, relevant tools, and the latest AI-driven development technologies.

• Establish safe, reliable, scalable, efficient, and secure pathways for software and systems to transition to production.

• Take ownership of the tools engineers utilize for building, testing, and deploying code.

• Standardize pipelines, templates, guidelines, and established paths to enhance developer productivity.

• Introduce and enhance internal tools that diminish operational overhead.

• Enhance on-call processes and reduce MTTR through improved instrumentation.

• Promote observability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency using Datadog.

• Apply best practices for secrets management, IAM, network security, vulnerability scanning, and container security.

• Create automated checks and secure-by-default workflows within CI/CD and cloud environments.

• Assist in establishing compliance and security practices that ensure ReflexAI meets industry and customer standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, and platform engineering positions.

• In-depth hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP and AWS), as well as Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudRun, Fargate, and managed Kubernetes.

• Significant experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, guard rails, and established paths for contemporary application stacks.

• Proficiency in modern observability ecosystems (experience with Datadog is a significant advantage).

• Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, container security, and network architecture.

• Experience with and enthusiasm for AI-driven development.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory. This role supports ReflexAI's U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs contract and requires access to systems for which citizenship is a prerequisite.
