Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain enterprise cloud delivery platforms that facilitate swift and secure software deployments throughout the organization.

• Execute platform automation, lend technical expertise, and collaborate with our global team to enhance the developer experience while ensuring both scalability and reliability.

• Design and maintain cloud platform infrastructure utilizing Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and other cloud-native technologies.

• Establish CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions along with deployment workflows that minimize manual intervention and reduce deployment errors.

• Integrate monitoring tools such as DataDog, code quality assessments with SonarQube, security scanning via Snyk, and other enterprise solutions with platform capabilities.

• Acquire and apply knowledge of emerging platform technologies and tools as the platform matures and adapts to evolving organizational needs.

• Assist in transitioning existing Jenkins and Azure DevOps pipelines to GitHub Actions, ensuring seamless migrations for development teams while enhancing productivity and automation levels.

• Collaborate with technical leadership, engage in design reviews, and implement technical solutions.

• Uphold high standards of code quality through modern development practices, self-documenting code, and effective knowledge sharing methods.

• Be at ease with leveraging AI Automation to enhance skills and accelerate output.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Software Development.

• Extensive hands-on experience with key platform technologies: Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Proficiency in Container Orchestration with Kubernetes and Helm.

• Experience in CI/CD, particularly with GitHub Actions; familiarity with Jenkins or Azure DevOps is a plus.

• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms, ideally AWS or Azure, with experience in both being advantageous.

• Understanding of cloud networking fundamentals, secrets management practices, and multi-tenant deployment patterns including network segmentation, secure credential handling, and tenant isolation strategies.

• Adept in Python scripting and automation development.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools, with DataDog being preferred.

• Strong learning agility and capability to swiftly adopt new technologies as platform functionalities expand.

• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote setting while collaborating with distributed teams.

• Excellent English communication skills for effective interaction with US-based management and global team members.
