Senior Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Designing, implementing, and overseeing a secure, scalable, and resilient Azure infrastructure with a primary emphasis on Kubernetes (AKS).

• Developing and sustaining automation frameworks to facilitate efficient deployment, monitoring, and management of platform services.

• Collaborating with software engineering teams to integrate CI/CD-friendly design patterns and enhance continuous integration and deployment practices.

• Guaranteeing high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance for all platform services.

• Incorporating security best practices throughout the infrastructure to reduce risks and safeguard services.

• Guiding junior engineers and contributing to ongoing improvement through documentation and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in containerization, DevOps practices, and contemporary engineering tools.

• Demonstrated strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and practical experience managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Solid experience with infrastructure as code utilizing tools such as Terraform, Ansible, ARM, or Bicep.

• Proficient in scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash, or Python and comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines.

• Possess strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive approach, and the capability to collaborate effectively across teams.
