Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

• Develop clean, efficient, and high-quality code primarily using C# and .NET Core, adhering to software engineering best practices.

• Perform detailed code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers to enhance technical skills within the team.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to collect requirements, clarify specifications, and ensure that technical solutions align with business needs.

• Enhance platform infrastructure through software development, facilitating scalable, reliable, and efficient systems to support engineering workflows and application delivery.

• Implement GitOps practices to optimize deployment processes.

• Oversee Kubernetes-based infrastructure and automate application deployments utilizing Helm Charts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, preferably with a focus on C# and .NET Core.

• Experience with distributed systems and microservice architecture, creating scalable and resilient solutions.

• Proficient troubleshooting skills for software applications, capable of diagnosing and resolving issues in complex distributed environments.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerization techniques.

• Strong comprehension of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern deployment strategies (e.g., canary and blue-green deployments).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is considered a significant advantage.

• Knowledge of GitOps methodologies for the management and automation of infrastructure and application deployments is highly preferred.

• Experience with observability platforms such as DataDog and ELK stack.

• Exceptional communication skills and fluency in English.
