This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design and create serverless and containerized services utilizing Go and Python.
• Develop and manage microservices across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code principles through Terraform.
• Construct and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging Jenkins and CloudOS.
• Establish event-driven workflows employing cloud-native messaging and orchestration services.
• Implement scalable data persistence solutions with managed databases and object storage.
• Contribute to the enforcement of security and compliance measures.
• Set up monitoring, logging, tracing, and custom metrics.
• Assist with AI-enabled observability efforts, including smart alerting, anomaly detection, and signal correlation.
• Enhance services for reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness across different cloud providers.
• Engage in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents.
• Develop automated workflows for cloud account and project provisioning.
• Create self-service APIs for infrastructure requests and governance.
• Establish cross-account and cross-project identity and access controls.
• Generate reusable Terraform modules and service templates.
• Construct and manage Docker images and oversee deployments through container registries.
• Over 5 years of experience in building and operating production software systems.
• Strong expertise in either Go or Python.
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven experience in designing systems that operate across multiple cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Solid comprehension of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience in Git-based, collaborative engineering settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency in the U.S.
• Must satisfy applicable government security and eligibility criteria.
• Preferred: experience with multi-cloud architectures that include AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Preferred: experience within regulated or compliance-focused environments.
• Preferred: familiarity with observability data such as metrics, logs, and traces.
• Preferred: exposure to AI-driven observability or AIOps tools.
• Preferred: understanding of cloud identity systems and governance frameworks.
• Preferred: basic knowledge of Kubernetes principles and container orchestration.
• Preferred: experience with EKS, AKS, or GKE.
