Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in macro initiatives (e.g., Internal Developer Platforms, new CI/CD pipelines)

• Develop internal tools and frameworks focusing on Developer Experience (DX)

• Define and monitor productivity KPIs

• Design, build, and enhance internal platforms

• Actively collaborate with product and engineering teams

• Create abstractions and interfaces

• Conduct code reviews

• Automate processes and workflows

• Foster a culture of Platform Engineering

• Implement observability practices

• Monitor platform capacity and performance

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDP)

• Proficiency in Programming with Python, Go, Node.js, or Java

• Understanding of engineering productivity metrics (DORA metrics, Lead Time)

• Expertise in Cloud Computing (AWS) and Serverless architectures

• Advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills using AWS CDK or Terraform

• Deep knowledge of CI/CD processes

• Mastery of Kubernetes (EKS) and/or ECS

• Experience with monitoring tools

• Familiarity with Linux systems (Ubuntu) and their tools

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
