Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and reliability of our platform.

• Develop and maintain distributed systems, emphasizing performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.

• Collaborate with the engineering team, including support engineers, to enhance our internal platform with a focus on automation, monitoring, and logging.

• Utilize Kubernetes to manage and orchestrate containerized applications, ensuring efficient resource utilization and high availability.

• Contribute to the development of our platform roadmap, ensuring alignment of our technology stack with business goals and objectives.

• Ensure the security, compliance, and adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements of our platform.

• Work alongside the engineering team to identify and prioritize platform enhancements and develop solutions to meet these needs.

• Oversee the complete platform development process from design to delivery, ensuring our platform meets the needs of our engineers and the organization as a whole.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a platform engineering role, focusing on distributed systems, AWS, and Kubernetes.

• Extensive experience in agentic coding and platform development, concentrated on building scalable and secure systems.

• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, particularly AWS, along with a solid understanding of cloud security and compliance.

• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.

• Comprehensive experience with distributed systems, covering design patterns, scalability, and fault tolerance.

• A strong emphasis on automation, with experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or comparable solutions.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving, capable of driving projects independently and continuously enhancing our reliability practices.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly in English, to collaborate effectively across technical teams and stakeholders.
