Senior PHP Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain backend features and APIs for US Legal Forms utilizing PHP/Laravel

• Implement an AI-driven perspective in daily tasks by discovering and applying methods that enable the team to build and deliver more efficiently and intelligently

• Collaborate across functions, which may include some frontend work with React

• Analyze A/B testing outcomes and take ownership of the impact of your work on product performance

• Engage in technical and procedural decisions, aiding the team in functioning autonomously with minimal project management involvement

• Produce tested, maintainable code while adhering to quality standards

• Actively propose ideas that enhance the team's efficiency, intelligence, and overall effectiveness

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in backend development

• Strong expertise in PHP/Laravel

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools to enhance actual development tasks

• Proficient in REST APIs, SQL/MySQL, message queues (SQS), and cloud/AWS technologies

• Strong commitment to testing practices and code quality

• Basic understanding of Python

• Basic knowledge of React

• Proactive and self-sufficient, with a clear sense of ownership

• Comfortable making decisions within a low-bureaucracy team environment

• English proficiency at B1+ level
