This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in the resolution of production incidents.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement necessary fixes.

• Monitor and interpret logs, metrics, and alerts effectively.

• Execute hotfixes and targeted code corrections.

• Support and oversee deployments and releases, mitigating potential risks.

• Investigate issues related to: APIs, messaging, and third-party integrations.

• Address data corrections as required.

• Create and enhance operational runbooks.

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and recurring failures.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize bugs and technical debts.

• Participate in on-call duty, when applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Java (17+).

• Experience with Spring Boot.

• Familiarity with REST APIs (contract, debugging, and troubleshooting).

• Understanding of microservices architecture (operational perspective).

• Knowledge of integrations (REST, events, webhooks).

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent).

• Ability to analyze queries.

• Skills in correcting inconsistencies.

• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar): troubleshooting queues and consumers.

• Knowledge of observability: structured logs, metrics, and distributed tracing.

• Experience in failure handling: timeout, retry, circuit breaker.

• Understanding of authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT – analysis and support).

• Familiarity with containers (Docker) and basic Kubernetes concepts.

• Proficient in Git (PR flow, hotfix, rollback).
