This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of the Workday Benefits and Compensation module, consistently improving its configuration for scalability and efficiency.
• Create, develop, test, and implement Open Enrollment configurations from start to finish.
• Develop, adjust, and enhance custom Workday reports.
• Collaborate across various functions including Benefits, HR, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to convert business needs into Workday solutions.
• Define the scope and prioritize releases within Workday.
• Work alongside developers and vendors to enhance Workday integrations, address issues, and optimize benefits data flows.
• Assess proposed system modifications to uncover opportunities for process enhancement and standardization.
• Manage and configure Workday enhancements or corrections related to HCM, Compensation, Payroll, and reporting.
• Collaborate with People Operations teams to collect, document, and verify business requirements for programs implemented through Workday.
• Advocate for and exemplify Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we expand globally and open new offices.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in fast-paced, global organizations.
• More than 4 years of experience in configuring Workday Benefits.
• At least 2 years of experience in configuring core HCM is essential.
• Proficient in Workday business process configuration, security, and organizational setup.
• Experience with Workday HCM, Benefits, and Core HCM modules in both U.S. and international contexts.
• Skilled in writing and executing test scenarios for system implementations and enhancements.
• Proven experience in leading and configuring Compensation grids for the annual review process.
• Strong knowledge of Benefits best practices, HR protocols, and compliance, with experience in documenting and analyzing requirements.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and prioritization techniques.
• Capable of prioritizing tasks and delivering enhancements or fixes promptly without supervision. Must provide accurate timelines, follow-up, and necessary documentation for change management.
