This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Act as the primary People partner for a designated business portfolio, converting strategic objectives into actionable people plans that foster growth, performance, retention, and organizational well-being.
• Oversee workforce planning and organizational design initiatives, including headcount planning, identification of key roles, succession planning, team structuring, defining spans and layers, clarifying roles, and establishing operating rhythms.
• Provide coaching to executives, directors, managers, and frontline leaders on effective leadership, accountability for performance, constructive feedback, team dynamics, conflict management, and leading through change.
• Facilitate talent processes such as performance calibration, readiness for promotions, talent assessments, career development initiatives, engagement action planning, and empowering managers.
• Leverage people analytics from engagement, attrition, performance, hiring, departures, retention, attendance, and team health indicators to detect trends, diagnose root issues, and suggest actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Total Rewards, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders on matters related to compensation, job leveling, incentive structures, offer strategies, retention risks, and pay equity considerations.
• Address employee relations, performance, conduct, policy, and organizational risk issues with sound judgment, thorough documentation, legal collaboration, and a focus on sustainable resolution.
• Advocate for Evolve’s culture and values while assisting leaders in developing high-performing teams where members understand priorities, receive constructive feedback, advance their careers, and perform at their best.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive HR Business Partner or closely related People experience in a dynamic, high-growth, customer-focused, or technology-driven environment.
• Proven experience collaborating directly with senior leaders or executives, with the capability to influence strategy, challenge assumptions, and cultivate trusted relationships.
• Established expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, talent reviews, employee relations, compensation collaboration, managerial effectiveness, and change management.
• Strong judgment in handling both strategic and sensitive people issues, including complex employee relations, performance challenges, confidential matters, and ambiguous situations.
• Proficiency in data analysis and comfort utilizing HRIS, engagement, performance, compensation, headcount, and attrition data to influence leaders and prioritize actions.
• Experience supporting technical, commercial, customer-facing, operational, hourly, or frontline teams is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Rippling, Betterworks, or similar HR technology is a plus. HR certification is also beneficial.
