Senior PA/QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, production, and validation of spaceflight hardware.

• Ensure that high-quality standards are upheld across mechanisms and structural components.

• Engage in technical reviews, evaluate risks, and collaborate with suppliers throughout the hardware lifecycle.

• Set up and uphold PA/QA requirements for mechanisms and structural parts.

• Take part in design reviews, risk assessments, and technical boards addressing non-conformances and anomalies.

• Aid in the selection of materials, mechanical components, and processes, including verification and contamination control.

• Conduct inspections of hardware at various stages (incoming, pre-test, post-test).

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with requirements and resolve any non-conformances.

• Maintain quality management systems and all supporting documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Essential experience in the space industry.

• Over 5 years of experience in PA/QA for regulated manufacturing, ideally within spaceflight.

• Familiarity with materials, mechanical components, and processes related to space hardware.

• Background in testing, verification, and reporting.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
