This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.
• Take ownership of the paid media strategy and execution for a diverse portfolio of clients, encompassing channel mix, creative direction, full-funnel architecture, budget management, and strategic reporting.
• Design, launch, and oversee paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, Connected TV, and YouTube, with continuous programmatic engagement.
• Conduct daily monitoring of campaigns, tracking performance, pacing, and budget adherence across all active accounts to identify and address issues proactively.
• Establish campaigns with the appropriate structure, tracking mechanisms, naming conventions, and attribution from the outset to ensure data integrity.
• Make proactive adjustments to bids, budgets, targeting, and creative based on performance indicators.
• Formulate media strategies that align with the entire customer journey, from top-of-funnel awareness and creative-driven engagement to mid-funnel nurturing and bottom-funnel conversions.
• Provide clear and confident recommendations regarding channel mix, audience architecture, and investment shifts, along with the rationale behind them.
• Communicate with creative teams with strategic clarity, outlining not only specifications but also the objectives of the creative work and the desired behaviors.
• Manage substantial media budgets across multiple clients simultaneously, maintaining a disciplined focus on pacing and efficiency.
• Develop and sustain automated reporting systems that minimize manual tasks and provide consistent performance visibility to clients and internal teams.
• Approach every client reporting session equipped with thorough analysis and proactive suggestions, rather than merely summarizing the numbers.
• Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and account teams to ensure media execution aligns with broader campaign objectives.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing paid media at a digital or performance marketing agency. Candidates lacking agency experience will not be considered.
• Proficient in Google Ads (Search, YouTube, Performance Max) and Meta Ads Manager, with experience in connected TV platforms and programmatic at this level.
• A solid understanding of how awareness, consideration, and conversion interconnect, allowing you to craft media strategies that reflect this insight rather than a mere assortment of campaigns.
• Possess strong opinions on what makes paid creative effective, with the ability to brief creative teams clearly, provide constructive feedback, and link creative choices to performance results.
• Experience managing significant paid media budgets across several clients simultaneously, demonstrating a history of accurate pacing and strong performance results.
• Diligently check campaigns daily, identifying overspending, underspending, and performance anomalies early on, taking action without needing prompts.
• Build systems rather than rely on spreadsheets, having established automated dashboards and reporting workflows that enhance visibility and reduce manual work.
• Communicate insights beyond just sending dashboards; explain the implications for the business and provide actionable recommendations in a way clients can understand and implement.
• Confidently form opinions on what strategies are effective and make recommendations, including those that may be challenging.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance efficiency, whether for research, reporting, copy testing, creative briefing, or strategy, and articulate how these tools have improved your work.
• Comfortable managing media for clients from various industries, adjusting strategies and messaging to meet diverse audiences and objectives.
