Senior Outpatient Coder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Provides daily leadership and operational assistance for assigned inpatient and/or outpatient coding processes.

• Utilizes current official coding standards and authoritative recommendations.

• Maintains a minimum coding accuracy rate of 95%.

• Oversees coder productivity and quality metrics.

• Works in conjunction with the CDI/Audit team to ensure second-level reviews are completed.

• Guarantees that accounts are not finalized for billing until necessary documentation is available.

• Develops, executes, and oversees coding policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• CCS Credential, RHIT, or RHIA required.

• 5-10 years of progressive HIM coding management experience in an acute care hospital environment.

• Extensive knowledge of Revenue Cycle Operations, including acute care coding.

• Experience with 3M 360 is mandatory.
