Senior Oracle DBA, Exadata Cloud Service, OCI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS) along with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments;

• Ensure the database environments exhibit high availability, performance, security, and scalability;

• Implement and oversee Disaster Recovery solutions and Oracle Data Guard;

• Execute migrations of environments to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI);

• Automate infrastructure processes utilizing Terraform;

• Monitor critical environments and engage in advanced troubleshooting to resolve incidents;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish architectures and cloud best practices;

• Support initiatives aimed at continuous improvement for the infrastructure and operations of Oracle Cloud environments;

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in administering Oracle Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS);

• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI);

• Advanced expertise in Oracle Database administration;

• Proven experience with Oracle Data Guard and Disaster Recovery solutions;

• Practical experience in migrating systems to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI);

• Proficiency in automating infrastructure using Terraform;

• Knowledge of monitoring critical environments and executing advanced troubleshooting;

• Proactive and analytical mindset with experience in mission-critical corporate settings;

• Capability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate architectures and cloud best practices;

• Bachelor's degree is required.
