This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Act as a subject matter expert for the Certificates of Insurance (COI) process and associated operational tasks.
• Provide assistance to both onshore and offshore teams regarding COI inquiries, resolving issues, and offering process guidance.
• Evaluate certificate requests to ensure the accurate management of coverage requirements and certificate issuance.
• Analyze and interpret contracts, insurance stipulations, and policy language to ensure compliant processing of COIs.
• Support implementation efforts, transition activities, and project initiatives related to the offshore COI function.
• Aid in the establishment, launch, and stabilization of transitioned COI operations.
• Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, desk procedures, and knowledge resources for COI processes.
• Assist in conducting training and knowledge transfer sessions for team members, both offshore and onshore.
• Offer continuous coaching and support to ensure consistency in processes, quality of service, and operational readiness.
• Identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement within COI workflows.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive standardization, enhance efficiency, and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Work together with colleagues, service teams, and third-party vendors to ensure exceptional client service and operational excellence.
• Monitor compliance with established processes, service expectations, and quality standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.
• Property & Casualty Insurance License is required.
• A minimum of five years of experience in the insurance sector.
• Experience in managing Complex Certificates of Insurance.
• Proficient in reading contracts and insurance policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to respond with urgency and professionalism in all situations while effectively prioritizing responsibilities and achieving goals proactively.
• Proven proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
