This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Collaborate closely with Poland AP contractors to provide support and guidance, ensuring adherence to SLA/KPI standards.
• Oversee AP inboxes and ticketing systems, addressing queries and escalating issues as necessary.
• Manage the invoice workflow and guarantee timely payments through various methods (wires, ACH, checks).
• Investigate and resolve any payment and cash matching discrepancies.
• Engage with vendors to resolve any discrepancies that may arise.
• Work in conjunction with Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with month-end closing processes, including accruals, journal entries, and flux analysis.
• Conduct reconciliations for AP, accrued expenses, and clearing accounts.
• Generate reports and assist with audit and compliance procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and maintain AP documentation.
• Minimum of 4 years of practical experience in Accounts Payable.
• In-depth knowledge of AP processes, month-end closing, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Strong grasp of Procure-To-Pay principles.
• Experience in AP processing across various countries and currencies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and payment platforms.
• Understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and performance monitoring metrics.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and the capability to work collaboratively across functions.
• Experience in supporting or mentoring junior team members or contractors.
• Ability to identify problems, escalate issues as needed, and facilitate resolutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort with financial data management.
• Experience in providing audit support and documentation is advantageous.
• Familiarity with vendor management and payment processing methods (wires, ACH, etc.).
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
