Senior Openshift Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Design, deploy, and oversee OpenShift clusters on bare metal, encompassing node management and OpenShift Virtualization (KubeVirt).

• Automate infrastructure management utilizing tools such as Ansible and Python.

• Configure and manage OpenShift networking (CNI) and storage (CSI) solutions.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting processes for the OpenShift environment.

• Oversee OpenShift control plane components and operators.

• Collaborate effectively within a team setting, employing strong project management abilities.

• Establish and uphold security best practices for OpenShift.

• Partner with various internal teams to collectively migrate our virtualization stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenShift on bare metal and OpenShift Virtualization.

• 3+ years of experience working with Ansible.

• Proficient in implementing CSI (Ceph, Portworx, etc.).

• Familiarity with Operators and OLM.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong project management and Agile methodology experience.
