This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Drive the strategic implementation across a multifaceted territory or multi-state area, achieving sustained commercial success.
• Strengthen relationships with healthcare providers and cultivate connections with key stakeholders to enhance understanding of Exelixis oncology therapies and ensure their proper utilization.
• Utilize advanced analytics and market insights to fine-tune territory strategies and influence internal planning processes.
• Collaborate across functions to provide coordinated solutions that tackle clinical, operational, and access-related challenges.
• Represent field insights in brand planning discussions and contribute to innovative tactical initiatives.
• Identify emerging trends, competitive challenges, and unmet needs within the designated territory.
• Exhibit excellence in compliance, professionalism, and ethical engagement.
• Lead strategic pull-through initiatives in partnership with access and reimbursement teams.
• Act as a field-based ambassador for new product launches, pilot programs, and strategic initiatives.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders, integrated delivery networks, and institutional decision-makers.
• Assist regional leadership in business planning, training, and performance assessment.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for junior team members by sharing best practices and supporting their skill development.
• BS/BA degree in a relevant field and 9 years of applicable experience; or a Master’s degree in a related discipline and 7 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in oncology sales is required.
• Experience with product launches is essential.
• Strong business planning skills are a must.
• Capability to work independently is required.
• Proficient in persuading others by presenting complex clinical information effectively.
• Skills in Relationship Management, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Communication, and Influence & Persuasion are necessary.
