This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, design, and implement red (and purple) team operations to mimic sophisticated adversary tactics and techniques.
• Conduct thorough penetration testing on web applications, endpoint agents, internal systems, and personnel.
• Leverage a combination of traditional scripting and generative AI platforms to swiftly prototype tools, replicate advanced cyber threats, and automate repetitive tasks during live operations.
• Execute social engineering initiatives to assess human vulnerabilities.
• Work in close collaboration with the Security Operations Center and CSIRT teams to improve detection and response capabilities.
• Keep abreast of evolving threats and refine red teaming methodologies accordingly.
• Collaborate with Product Security to prioritize testing efforts for upcoming releases.
• Analyze and exploit vulnerabilities through comprehensive operational logging, utilizing strong documentation and communication skills to convert complex technical findings into actionable remediation guidance that effectively strengthens the organization's security posture.
• Create and present detailed technical and executive-level reports following engagements.
• Incorporate red team tools, techniques, and processes into a wider security framework.
• Lead or take part in after-action evaluations to capture lessons learned.
• Aid in the design and implementation of security controls based on red team insights.
• Over 3 years of experience as an offensive security expert.
• A documentation-first approach.
• Extensive knowledge of adversarial tradecraft.
• Proficient understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Skills in various scripting languages.
• Experience in communicating findings that enhance defenses.
• A practical approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in predominantly macOS environments is a significant advantage.
