Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Development of high-performance backend services and APIs supporting enterprise-grade SaaS applications.

• Creation of scalable and secure Node.js microservices and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Implementation of modern front-end experiences using Vue.js and TypeScript to meet the needs of demanding enterprise users.

• Management of CI/CD pipeline tooling, automation frameworks, and infrastructure aimed at enhancing developer productivity.

• Execution of real-time data processing and event-driven architectures that handle sensitive enterprise data at scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional Node.js development experience in production environments — not tutorials, side projects, or bootcamp exercises. We seek expertise in real production systems serving actual users at scale.

• In-depth understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime. You should be capable of explaining backpressure, the distinctions between setImmediate and process.nextTick, and the dangers of unhandled promise rejections without the need to search online.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in production codebases. We prioritize typed code and expect you to grasp its significance.

• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, JWT), and best practices for API security in enterprise settings.

• Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization, data modeling, and awareness of performance implications related to schema decisions at scale.

• Proficient in Git workflows, code review standards, automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid grasp of containerization (Docker), cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and infrastructure-as-code principles.

• Experience in Salesforce development: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations. Candidates skilled in both Node.js and Salesforce are particularly valuable to us.

• Background in building or contributing to Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products.

• Experience with Vue.js front-end development, especially with Vue 3 Composition API and state management.

• Familiarity with working in B2B SaaS environments serving enterprise clients with stringent compliance requirements (SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, GDPR).

• Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and practices within the Salesforce ecosystem.
