Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Development of high-performance backend services and APIs that drive enterprise-grade SaaS applications.

• Creation of scalable and secure Node.js microservices and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Delivery of modern front-end experiences utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript tailored for demanding enterprise users.

• Implementation of CI/CD pipeline tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure that enhance developer productivity.

• Execution of real-time data processing and event-driven architectures managing sensitive enterprise data at scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional Node.js development experience in production settings—not tutorials, side projects, or bootcamp exercises. You should have worked on real production systems serving actual users at scale.

• Comprehensive understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime. You should be able to articulate concepts like backpressure, differentiate between setImmediate and process.nextTick, and explain why unhandled promise rejections pose a risk—without needing to look it up.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in production environments. We prioritize typed code, and we expect you to appreciate its significance.

• Strong grasp of RESTful API design, authentication patterns (including OAuth 2.0 and JWT), and best practices for API security in enterprise contexts.

• Proven track record with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization, data modeling, and an understanding of the performance impacts of schema decisions at scale.

• Skilled in Git workflows, code review methodologies, automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid knowledge of containerization (Docker), cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and principles of infrastructure-as-code.

• Experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations. Candidates who are proficient in both Node.js and Salesforce are highly sought after.

• Background in building or contributing to Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products.

• Experience in Vue.js front-end development, especially with Vue 3 Composition API and state management.

• Familiarity with working in B2B SaaS companies that serve enterprise clients with stringent compliance requirements (SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, GDPR).

• Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps tools and practices within the Salesforce ecosystem.
