Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional Node.js development experience in production settings — beyond tutorials, side projects, or bootcamp exercises. You should have worked on real production systems serving actual users at scale.

• Mastery of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime. You should be capable of explaining backpressure, the distinctions between setImmediate and process.nextTick, and the risks associated with unhandled promise rejections — without needing to look it up.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in production codebases. We prioritize typed code, and we expect you to grasp its importance.

• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, JWT), and API security best practices tailored for enterprise environments.

• Demonstrated experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, focusing on query optimization, data modeling, and an understanding of the performance consequences of schema choices at scale.

• Proficiency in Git workflows, code review methodologies, automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid grasp of containerization (Docker), cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and principles of infrastructure-as-code.

• Highly Preferred (These Will Set You Apart):

• Experience in Salesforce development: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations. Candidates skilled in both Node.js and Salesforce are exceptionally valuable to us.

• Background in building or contributing to Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products.

• Experience in Vue.js front-end development, particularly with Vue 3 Composition API and state management.

• Familiarity with working in B2B SaaS companies catering to enterprise clients with strict compliance standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, GDPR).

• Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and practices within the Salesforce ecosystem.
