Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belarus.

📋 Description

• Development of high-performance backend services and APIs that support enterprise-grade SaaS applications.

• Creation of scalable and secure Node.js microservices and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Design of modern front-end experiences utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript tailored for demanding enterprise users.

• Implementation of CI/CD pipeline tooling, automation frameworks, and infrastructure aimed at enhancing developer productivity.

• Management of real-time data processing and event-driven architectures capable of handling sensitive enterprise data at scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Node.js development within production environments — excluding tutorials, side projects, or bootcamp exercises. We seek experience with real production systems that serve actual users at scale.

• An expert-level comprehension of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime. You should be able to discuss backpressure, differentiate between setImmediate and process.nextTick, and articulate why unhandled promise rejections pose risks — all without needing to consult Google.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in production codebases. We prioritize typed code, and we expect you to understand its importance.

• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, authentication patterns (such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT), and best practices for API security in enterprise settings.

• Proven proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization, data modeling, and an understanding of the performance implications of schema choices at scale.

• Familiarity with Git workflows, code review methodologies, automated testing (including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid grasp of containerization (Docker), cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and principles of infrastructure-as-code.

• Experience in Salesforce development: including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations. If you possess expertise in both Node.js and Salesforce, you will be considered a rare and highly valuable candidate.

• Background in building or contributing to Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products.

• Experience in Vue.js front-end development, especially with Vue 3 Composition API and state management.

• Experience in B2B SaaS companies catering to enterprise customers with stringent compliance requirements (such as SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, GDPR).

• Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and practices within the Salesforce ecosystem.
