Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Developing algorithms for quoting and routing to determine costs for global goods transportation.

• Integrating real-time tracking data from ships, trucks, and aircraft to derive actionable insights for the supply chain.

• Streamlining processes to enhance automation from 5% to 90%, effectively eliminating faxes, emails, and phone calls within logistics.

• Creating scalable and extendable event-driven microservice architectures utilizing advanced design patterns such as CQRS and event sourcing, among other intriguing use cases.

• Leading engineering-wide projects while collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.

• Composing clear Architectural Decision Records (ADRs).

• Providing mentorship to engineers at various skill levels.

• Continuously enhancing existing systems, including the refactoring of critical components within our platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in Software Engineering (5+ years).

• Strong background in large-scale architectural patterns, event-driven microservices, well-structured APIs, and efficient algorithms.

• Expertise in the back-end technologies we employ: NodeJS, Javascript, Typescript, MongoDB, message queuing systems, or Kubernetes.

• A professional approach to software craftsmanship, including testing practices.

• Effective communication skills in both verbal and written English.
